The Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for drafting a Symposium report in relation to the IHRP/Asper Centre Canadian
Media Freedom Symposium held in March 2020 at the law school (read more here). Tasks include summarizing key findings, synthesizing notes and legal materials produced for the Media Freedom Symposium, conducting legal research, drafting the report, and communicating frequently with supervisors on edits, formatting, and timeline.
Applicants for this position must be enrolled in the JD or LLM programs at the Faculty of Law or are expecting to graduate this spring in these programs.
